Invitation for Bids (IFB)

1. The Government of Nepal has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of SASEC Highway Improvement Project (SHIP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

1. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development, Department of Roads, Mechanical Branch, Lalitpur, Nepal (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of following item:

1. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
    
2. To obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents, Bidders should contact:

1. To purchase the Bidding Documents in English:
   1. Bidders submitting their bids should deposit a nonrefundable fee of NRs 5,000.00 for one set of Bidding Document in the following Revenue Account. The last date for purchase of the Bidding Documents is 2 November 2026 at 12:00 noon (Nepal Standard Time).

6. Deliver your bid

•  on or before the deadline: 3 November 2026, 12:00 hours (Nepal standard time).
•  together with a Bid security as described in the bidding document.

       The bids will be opened on 3 November 2026 13:00 hours (Nepal standard time) in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

7. The purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever.
